Adjust Recipe

This is where you enter and adjust how much of each ingredient you want in your recipe. This is a powerful area of ZoneRunner and is easier to use than you might think when first seeing it. Watch the faces get happy as you add favorable vegetables, fruits and fats, and remove bad carbohydrates and fats. The numbered areas show:
  1. The list of ingredients (and amounts) currently in your recipe. Each change is instantly reflected here and in all other parts of the screen.
  2. This section displays information about the current highlighted ingredient and is where you make changes to the amount of that ingredient. The little buttons increase or decrease the amount by 5, 1, or fractional amounts.
  3. The current balance of calories as adjusted. This changes continuosly with each increase or decrease of ingredient amounts
  4. This shows the relative amount of carbohydrates that come from favorable vegetables and fruits (more is better).
  5. This shows the quality of your fats choices; more mono- and less saturated and polyunsaturated fats is best.
  6. This shows the total blocks and grams of protein, carbohydrate and fat, plus total calories, in the recipe as adjusted. Click the "Me?" button to see how many meals or snacks the total represents for you, based on your lean body mass (LBM) that you entered in the User Preferences screen.
